Tapanahony Gold Project
The 29,000-hectare Tapanahony Project covers one of Suriname’s oldest and most active small-scale mining regions. Local miners have helped identify key exploration targets, with significant gold production from saprolite. In 2011–2012, Iamgold confirmed gold mineralization over 600 meters. Current focus is on the Poeketi-Randy Pit trend, with additional targets defined by mining activity, geophysics, Lidar, and geochemical sampling.
