Outlining a New High-Grade Gold System in Suriname The Tapanahony Gold Project, 2025 review

Image

Edmonton, Alberta, December 29, 2025 – Sranan Gold Corp. (CSE: SRAN) (“Sranan Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide a summary of 2025 exploration activities from its 29,000-hectare Tapanahony Gold Project, Suriname, from initial high-grade grab sample assays of up to 108 grams per tonne gold (“g/t Au”) to significant drill assay results including 64.0 metres (“m”) averaging 3.0 g/t Au.

In 2025, Sranan Gold advanced the Tapanahony Project from early-stage surface sampling and trenching to systematic drilling. The Company identified a 4.5-kilometer northwest-southeast trending mineralized shear zone, the Poeketi-Randy’s Pit trend, where locally small-scale miners have sunk shafts up to reported depths of 80 m to mine gold associated with quartz veins and sulphides.

In the first half of 2025, Sranan Gold compiled and validated historical data and refined the geological interpretation of the Tapanahony Gold Project using LiDAR and geophysics. Camp facilities and core handling infrastructure were put in place in preparation for drilling activities.

Randy’s Pit Exploration

In mid-2025, exploration focused on confirming the extent of the gold mineralization around the Randy’s Pit.  High-grade grab* samples from shafts, including values of 76.6 g/t Au and 23.7 g/t Au, confirmed the presence of significant mineralization and provided important information on vein orientation and alteration.

Channel Sampling Confirms Near-Surface Continuity

Trenching commenced in August 2025 to test lateral extension of the gold mineralization beyond the extents of the Randy’s Pit workings. The first trench, located approximately 150 metres south of Randy’s Pit, returned 5 metres averaging 36.7 g/t Au confirming that high-grade mineralization extended beyond previously known limits.

Follow-up trenching in September 2025 returned additional high-grade channel samples with 5 m averaging 8.9 g/t Au further extending the near-surface expression of the Randy’s Pit trend. Together, these trenching results confirmed that gold mineralization occurs within a broader mineralized and structural corridor.

Channel samples were collected as continuous channels across exposed mineralized structures; sampling was conducted as part of an early-stage exploration program and results are subject to standard quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Initiation of Drilling and Proof of Concept

Based on historical data, mapping and structural interpretation during first half of 2025, Sranan Gold initiated its first diamond drilling program on the Randy’s Pit trend in August 2025.

The first drill hole, 25RADD-001, intersected 11.5 m grading 3.64 g/t Au in weathered saprolite approximately 300 metres north of Randy’s Pit. This confirmed the team’s hypothesis for the continuity of gold mineralization away from areas of artisanal mining.

High Grade Bedrock Discovery at Randy’s Pit

Continued drilling advanced into fresh bedrock beneath and adjacent to the Randy’s Pit. All the first four drill holes intersected significant gold mineralization, culminating in a significant intercept in hole 25RADD-004 of:

  • 64.0 m grading 3.0 g/t Au including a 5 m interval grading 33.5 g/t Au with visible gold.

This wide intercept confirmed that Randy’s Pit is interpreted to be part of a large, structurally controlled gold system extending to depth into the unweathered, bedrock.

Demonstrating Continuity and Scale

Following the discovery, drilling focused on step-out testing to evaluate continuity along strike and at depth. Additional holes returned broad gold intercepts, including 22.4 m averaging 2.44 g/t Au (25RADD-006) and 19.0 m averaging 1.68 g/t Au (25RADD-009).

By year-end, Sranan Gold had completed 4,189 m (Table 1) of diamond drilling in 19 holes (Figure 1), expanding the interpreted mineralized strike length from approximately 150 metres, defined by artisanal workings, to over 800 m. The system remains open along strike and at depth and is a subdomain of the longer 4.5 km Randy-Poeketi trend.

Poeketi Zone – Extending the trend

While Randy’s Pit has emerged as a significant discovery, exploration capital was also directed towards advancing the Poeketi target at the northwest end of the Randy-Poeketi trend.

At Poeketi, located approximately 3 kilometres northwest of Randy’s Pit, the Company accessed existing underground workings and completed targeted sampling. High-grade grab* samples of up to 26.7 g/t Au and 25.8 g/t Au, consistent with earlier results up to 108 g/t Au, extended the Poeketi target to an interpreted strike length of approximately 1,000 metres.

Although grab samples are selective by nature, these results support the interpretation that Poeketi and Randy’s Pit form part of a larger, coherent gold system and establish Poeketi as a priority drill target.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Sranan Gold enters 2026 with a firm foundation established: a high-grade gold discovery, demonstrated continuity of gold mineralization, and a growing inventory of drill-ready targets.

During the coming year, the Company plans to: 1) continue drilling around Randy’s Pit to further extend the gold mineralization along strike and depth; 2) initiate drilling at Poeketi to follow-up on the high-grade grab sample gold assays from artisanal gold workings; and 3) extend exploration activities along the broader Randy-Poeketi trend.  Sranan Gold will complete these activities while maintaining a disciplined, data-driven approach to exploration.

Poeketi Community Support

Sranan Gold would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the local community leaders and the people of Poeketi and adjacent villages for their cooperation and enthusiastic support for the Company’s activities.  The local population’s input has and will continue to be considered in Sranan Gold’s activities at the Tapanahony Gold Project.

Disclosures

* Grab samples are selective by nature and are not necessarily representative of the underlying mineralization.

Reported drill hole intercepts are downhole lengths; insufficient information is available at this time to determine true widths.
